Before, this small bedroom lacked organization and tranquility the homeowner yearned for.
Abigail creates an "Animal Kingdom" sanctuary on a very limited budget by creatively using a small amount of paint on-hand and redesigning a number of items found in the home.
What began as a simple faux stone wall treatment emerged into a waterfall mural on the west wall. A faux brick archway around the window transitions into a crumbling stone ledge that overlooks a misty jungle of plant life on the opposite side of the window.

Abigail creates an illusion of an open
space by ending the faux stone treatment about six inches from the top and painting the ceiling and background a very pale sky blue.
The round mirror on the east wall was already framed with a faux stone frame, only it was aqua. It was painted to look like fieldstone and strategically placed to reflect the waterfall on the west wall.
Three simple nature photographs replace the awards that were previously cluttering the north wall.
The wine colored duvet adds the finishing touch.

Petrified Wood Table
Abigail accessorizes the room by salvaging a piece of petrified wood and an old dresser found in the garage.
A faux tree trunk and the petrified wood together make a unique side table. A bamboo like finish gives the dresser a whole new look.
Ecstatic with the results, the homeowner hired Abigail to makeover the
kitchen.
