As a primarily self taught artist, Abigail M Hill has a natural eye for color, design and photography.
Abigail has been drawn to the art fields from a young age. It is a fact that some of her handpainted sweat shirt designs still lurk in the closets of old friends in New Jersey. Art school wasn't financially feasible when Abigail graduated high school, so she joined the Marine Corps at seventeen, choosing a different path from her sister, Elise B. Hill, a well known New York artist.
Abigail made the radical decision work in her favor and began studies at the Corcoran School of Art while serving her county as a culinary specialist at Marine Barracks 8th and I, Washington, DC. After the service, Abigail catered for
the US House of Representatives, where she learned garnishing and plate layout, utilizing food as her media.

Abigail changed direction and earned an AS in Computer Science at Northern Virginia Community College
in 1996. Relocating to Rhode Island, she worked as a Network
Technician for five years. Along with developing her
technical skill set, she developed skills in website design, writing,
creating presentations, and configuring office layouts.
On a free lance basis, Abigail began to develop a small interior makeover business in the late 90's, transforming spaces for friends by simply reusing the items in the home. When she moved to Florida, she further developed her talents by decorating vacation homes, staging listings, and painting murals and faux finishes for clients she met as a real estate agent and property manager. Her interest in photography developed while taking photos for real estate and grew with the purchase of her Canon EOS20D.
