As a primarily self taught artist, Abigail M Hill enjoys photography, interior design and painting.
Abigail has been creative from youth, selling hand painted sweat shirts in the 80's that still lurk in the closets of old friends in New Jersey. When Abigail graduated high school she followed family tradition and joined the Marine Corps at seventeen, choosing a different path from her older sister, Elise B. Hill, a well known New York artist.
Abigail made the radical decision work in her favor and began studies at the Corcoran School of Art while serving her country as a culinary specialist at Marine Barracks 8th and I, Washington, DC. After the service, Abigail catered for
the US House of Representatives, where she learned garnishing and plate layout, utilizing food as her media.
Abigail changed direction in the 90's and worked as a Human Resource Assistant for E-Systems and earning an AS in Computer Science at Northern Virginia Community College
in 1996.

After relocating to Rhode Island, she worked as a Network
Technician for SEACORP and Blue Cross Blue Shield and as a Network Administrator for The Lightship Group. Along with developing her
technical skill set, she developed skills in website design, writing,
creating presentations, and configuring office layouts.
In the late 90's, Abigail began to develop a small interior makeover business, transforming spaces for friends by simply redesigning items in the home and improving the space usage. In 2002, when she moved to Florida, she began working in real estate and further developed her talents by decorating vacation homes, staging listings, and painting murals and faux finishes in Isleworth, an upscale Orlando community.
Her interest in photography began while taking photos for real estate and later developed into a passion with the purchase of a Canon EOS20D.
